Rachel (Vestal) Hobson, born Apr. 18, 1787; died Sept. 18, 1844, Surry Co. N.C.;
married Nov. 11, 1808, Surry Co. N.C., Obedience "Biddy" Hadley, born 1790;
died 1828, dau. of Thomas and Eunice Hadley; m. 2d. Dec. 28, 1828 Dorothy B.
Wilson, born Jan. 8, 1832; William Hobson married 3d. Adams. They lived on
Logans Creek, N.C. (See Hinshaw's Ency. of Am. Quaker Genealogy, v. 1, p.
987.)
