Children: The 1900 Census indicates that Allen and Louisa were the parents of eight children, three of whom were living in 1900. However, it appears that they were actually the parents of nine children. James and Joseph were two of the three living children in 1900. The other living child is not known-- perhaps Robert or Calvin.
