Individual:
Theodore Babel, 86, of Spring, died in a local hospital at 11:50 a.m. Saturday. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nora Babel of Humble; three daughters; Mrs. Lula Moore of Porter, Mrs. Emma Powell of Spring and Miss Elizabeth Babel of Houston; one son, C. D. Babel of Westfield. Services at 5 p.m. Sunday at the residence in Spring. Burial at Spring under the direction of Houston Funeral Home.Apparently Theodore and Bertha Babel split up between the time of the 1900 census, when the whole family is shown as living in Harris County, Texas, and the 1910 census, when Bertha and her children are show as living in Comal County, Texas. I have been unable to locate Theodore on the 1910 or 1920 census, but he does appear in the 1930 census in Harris County.
