ELVA MILDRED BABEL RAUCH
Elva Mildred Babel Rauch passed away Jan. 6, 2005 in Seguin.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, January 10, 2005 at Goetz Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Tom Jones officiating.
Interment will follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5-9 pm, Suncay, Jan. 9, with family receiving friends 5-7 p.m. at Goetz Funeral Home.
Mrs. Rauch was born March 29, 1921 in Guadalupe County to Elthor and Clara Jandt Babel.
She is preceded in death by her husband, David Rauch; parents, Elthor and Clara Babel; brothers, Elthor (Buddy) Babel and his wife Patricia, Robert Lee (Bobby) Babel and sister, Wilma Erben and her husband Marvin Erben, Sr.
Survivors include her son, William (Bill) Rauch and wife Lucile of Seguin; daughter, Wilma Roberts and her husband Vernon of Kerrville; son, Charles Shindler of Corpus Christi; grandchildren Mindy Collins, Rachel Holub and her husband James, Rebecca Schulz and her husband Clay, and Nicole Roberts, all of Seguin; Dallas Riley and husband Steven of Kingsbury; eight great-grandhildren; sisters Virginia Howard and Melva Grimm, both of Seguin and Doris Grimm of New Braunfels, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
