2. Ref. to Asa and Elizabeth Buffington settling in Gallatin County, Ill inois as cited by Don Bowman.

Reason & Susanna moved to Gallatin Co., IL in 1819, buying at least 320 a cres on 14 June 1819. Reason's father and brother, Hamilton, along with Susanna's brothers, Richard and Asa, also moved to Illinois around the same time.
