Individual:
Dicy was under 18 when she & Marion were married and her father Brice signed. They were married by a minister at the brides home. In 1900, Dicy & Marion lived in Castor Twp. Dist. 12, rented their home & Marion was a day laborer. Living with them was her brother James H. Norman (an orphan). In 1910, Dicy and Monroe Shipman lived in Elk Twp. ward 6751 and he farmed for self. Mrs. Hoffman said Dicy and Monroe's children were; Opal, Marlou & Allen Shipman. In 1900 census said Dicy was 21 yr. old & had been married 7 years. 1880 census said she was 2.
