She is shown in the 1880 and 1900 census of Weld County, CO. The 19 00 census shows her as the mother of 11 children - 8 still living.
"Last Will and Testament: Know all men by these presents: That I, Sar ah A. Markley of Platteville in the County of Weld and State of Colorad o, farmer, being of sound mind, memory and understanding, do make and publ ish this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wil ls by me at any time heretofore made. As to my worldly estate and all t he property, real, personal, or mixed, of which I shall be entitled at t he time of my decease, I devise, bequeath, and dispose thereof in the mann er following to wit:
My will is that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall, by my ex ecutor hereinafter named, be paid out of my estate, as soon after my decea se as shall by him be found convenient.
I give, devise, and bequeath all the rest and residue of my estate, re al, personal, and mixed, of which I shall die seased and possesse d, or to which I shall be entitled at my decease, to my beloved husband, M athias Markley, to be used and enjoyed by him during the term of his natur al life;
and from immediately after his decease, I give and devise and bequea th the same to be equally divided to and among
my daughter, Annie Boyd
and my sons,
