4/6/2002: This data is a combination of information I've gathered from my family and my wife's family (she got me started on this when we tracked down DeVaney's in Ireland), plus all of volume 1 and volume 2 of Henry Cole Quinby's books. The "Custom id" shown for many entries is the number Henry uses in his books. Since the first load of this file I've attempted to further clean up my erratic interpretation of USA states' names and abbreviations.
Please note, in many cases the date of death is given in the form "aft 1915". This indicates the last date of contact or confirmed address in Henry's information. It may not be a "proper" genealogy form, but it made sense to me at the time.
