| Hughey, Fralick, Taborsky and More 5-08 |
I have many key families in my genealogical database--Hughey, Fralick, and Taborsky are but three. "Hughey" is one of my dad's families--Hughey, Proffitt, Pitts, Alexander, and so forth. "Taborsky" is one of my mom's--Taborsky, Sills, Stuart, McTaggart, McCorquindale, Bell, and many more. Though "Fralick" is one of my mom's ancestral kin, it links with my dad's kin as well. In my dad's family, the Fralicks are only cousins. I don't have many other families that bridge my dad's kin to my mom's, but there are numerous connecting families linking my dad's families to one another and my mom's to one another. A quick reprise will show that my dad's kin are mainly Southerners, once they arrived from abroad. Though he does have Greene, Hawley and Alexaner cousins that moved into Canada and points north. My mom's cousins are two fold through the Taborsky Bohemian connection or through the United Empire Loyalist connnections in Canada. Key cultures of my families are German, Scottish, and English though I do have other admixtures, including Hispanic.
