Kudzu and Maple Leaves Dec2007
The leaves, branches, and stems of my family tree include grafts from both "kudzu" and "maple leaves." The kudzu represents a large portion of my dad's ancestry as it is mostly from the South. The maple leaves, on the other hand, show that my maternal grandmother's ancestry is primarily Canadian. The one item not represented, however, is my maternal grandfather's family. It hails from Bohemia, which is now the Czech Republic.
