Ware was born in Old Albemarle County, Va on 18 Oct 1760 NOTE: In 1761 Amherst County was formed from Albemarle County. According to Mrs. Florence Long Bartow's 7 Nov 1911 letter Edward M. Ware died on Tuesday evening, 3 Nov 1838. He had moved to Amherst County, VA from Albemarle County, VA between 1761 - 1776. Mrs Annie T. Basore in a notarized statement, made on 5 May 1963, lists his death as of 21 Nov 1838.
