Medical: very ill with flu in 1921 -- Dr. Krieger advised him not to return to the mill
Edward lost his job as the result of the depression. Then he and Annie lost their home. They moved in with Margaret Haas Zimmerman and George Zimmerman in 1939 and lived with them til their deaths.
