Gertrude ("Gertie") was married twice. First marriage was to Lewis Melbrink (one child was born to Gertie and Lewis) and her second marriage was to William ("Bill") Wright. Gertie and Bill lived in Rushville for a number of years, moved out to Utah for awhile, back to Rushville, then lived in Hot Springs, South Dakota until Gertie's death.
