1 _MDCL Cirrhosis. and Arteriosclerotic Heart Disease. Dr. Terrell in
Wichita Falls said she had Hepatitis of the liver and she had plagaricwhich is a liver disease when she was young.
Senith's S.S. stated her zipcode as being 76302 in Wichita Falls, Texas. States her birth as 26 Aug 1895 and her death as being 15 Jan 1971.
Senith Hudson Gardners' father was a Horse Trader. I will be adding more on her family at a later date. Senith raised her five living sons Emmitt,Clyde, Arie, Delbert, and RP on her own after her husband had fallen froma wagon, ran over and killed on his way home one night on Dec. 16, 1926in Newcastle, Texas. She moved her sons to Wichita Falls, Texas due tofamily pressures of trying to convince her to place the boys in fostercare because of hardship. She died in Wichita Falls, Texas on 28 January1971, and is buried in the Crestview Cemetery in W.F., Texas. She had tobe a strong woman to raise five sons on her own. Senith also belonged tothe Victory Baptist Church in Wichita Falls, Texas. I was told by Pappy(Arie Lee) that his mother is Choctaw Indian and so was his father.
Census Records for 1920 Atoka Co., OK. states that Senith was born in Texas. This may be a mistake of the Census Taker. It also states thatboth her mother and father were born in Mississippi. The 1930 Garrett,Johnston Co., Oklahoma Census states her father born in Tn. and mother inMs. Senith is residing there with all her boys.
Dorothy McGehee said Senith and Wylie lived in Houston and Dallas, Texas.
Note; A family member has now stated that Wylie was supposedly bootlegging and that while coming home late one evening in the wagon thathe delivered moonshine, that he was so inibriated, that he fell out ofhis wagon which ran over him. It was in the winter and he froze to death.Senith must have been pregnant with the twins who had died after theirbirth considering Wiley died shortly before they were born. This may bewhy she lost them?
I was told that Senith was buried in the Riverside Cemetery, but my great aunt Francis who is Delberts spouse states that she was buried in theCrestview Cemetery and not Riverside. With this new information I calledCrestview Memorial and they confirmed she is buried in Crestview in theLove Memorial Garden in Crestview Cemetery.
