Individual:
1 _MDCL Arteriosclerotic Heart Disease.
On Sue Beaugard/Bogard's death Certificate, Govers' husband George Douglas signed as the informant. On Sues' Death certificate it statesthat she was a widow. It also shows her husband as "Will" Gradner (sp.) Ibelieve George Douglas mixed up the two brothers when he gave theinformation for Sue's death certificate. Sue was a widow at the time ofher death. At the time of her death she was residing with George andGertie Douglas at 305 Cliff St., Wichita Falls, Texas. The physicianlisted on her death certificate was Dr. Simmons and the informant wasGeorge Douglas. Sue was short in statue, she was probably no more thanabout 5 ft. tall is what Chuck had told me. He is Ruth Pearl Gardnersline and he remembers both Lee and Susie. Sue was in Bakersfield, Ca. inthe mid 1940's. Was she residing with some of her children as she wasgetting up in years. By 1951 she had died and was buried in WichitaFalls, Texas.
Got my answer to how Sue got to Ca. then back to Wichita Falls, Texas where she died, from Ralph Bills;
"Hello Belinda:
Granny Sue resided with Walter & Pearl (Sue's Daughter) for several years. She had also resided with her daughter Senith, and part time withher youngest son and daughter-in-law Otis & Effie. Otis and Effie livedat Rosedale fifteen mile from Bakersfield, Ca. Mom was not sure but shethinks Granny Sue went back to Texas with Otis & Effie. Otis and Effiemoved back and forth between California and Texas quite a bit.
My brother Don is the one with the picture of her. He also has a picture of Samuel Cad Youngblood which he will put on line as soon as hegets his computer hooked back up. He and his wife Deana were here forvacation this week, so while he was here we upgraded his computer [Itinker with them].
No, I do not have much info on the family. I am a novice at Genealogy, but I sure am having fun working at it.
Luv Ya'
Ralph & Mary."
Granny resided with Gover the last year of her life.
NOTE: Received the following from Sue Hickman.
Gene Allen lives in Wortham, his mother is Marie Allen, her grandmother was Nancy Elizabeth Bogard Marberry. I talk to them sometimes, and along time ago, they made me a copy of the bible page. Marie told me lastnight that when she was 6 years old Aunt Sue came to visit Nancy E. therewas no Lee at that time. They never talked about Lee. She also said thatAunt Sue was so small, that she would play with the kids, and jump justas much rope as the kids.
Senith could read and write but her spouse Robert could not.
