    ings in America, and they were abstracted and published between 1936-1947 as the six volumes "Encyclopedia of American Quaker Genealogy." Records from an additional 300 meetings are collected into a card file in the "William Wade Hinshaw Index to Quaker Meeting Records," housed in the Friends Historical Library at Swarthmore College in Swathmore, PA.
    In 1962, Willard Heiss began to publish the records of Indi
    ana meetings as a continuation of the Hinshaw Encyclopedia. Records of Iowa meetings have also been compiled.
    Many of the original records and other local historical mat
    erials have been deposited in the Quaker Colleges:

    [WRIG] Wrightsboro MM, Columbia (now Mcduffie) Co, SC. Form
    ed in 1773 out of Bush River MM, SC. Existed until about 1805 by which time most members had migrated to the territory north-west of the Ohio River. The remaining members affiliated with Bush River. Records now exist for Wrightsboro for the period 1773-1793, but some were destroyed during the Revolutionary War. Members from Wrightsboro are listed in the Bush River, MM, SC and New Garden MM, NC, records during the period immediately before and after the Wrightsboro MM was active.
