SOURCE: Albert Tingley Morris, Daniel Gwin, researchers found proof that Hezekiah Bull Dyer changed his name to Hezekiah Dyer to avoid harassment in town and saw the court record.
He and his family moved to Iowa between 1867 and 1869. Georgetown, Ohio estate book 6961 gave on March 22, 1857 the children's ages as 16, 12, 10, 8, and 5.
Tombstone records in New York Cemetery, Union Twp., Wayne County, Iowa. Tombstone records in Corydon Cemetery, Corydon, Iowa.
In the 1850 Ohio census Hezekiah Bull was listed and in the 1860 census Ohio census it was Hezekiah Dyer.
13 April 1999 the author talked by phone to Drucilla Smith, and she traced the BULL family from England to Maryland in the 1600's, Pennsylvania and Ohio.
