Alexander was born in November of 1883 in Joliette Township, North Dakota. He is listed on the North Dakota 1900 Census. He moved with the family to Blooming Valley Township in Minnesota about 1905. He is listed there as a landowner. After the fire, he moved with the family to Massachusetts. He is on the 1910 New Bedford, Massachusetts census living with Olivier, Elizabeth, Felix, George and Georgianna. In 1911, he married Olivine Paquette. He worked at the cloth room at the cotton mill. When his brother, George, married Helene Bourcier on May 29, 1916, Alexis and Arcade were witnesses. He became a builder of homes. He disappeared with the oldest boy, Alexis, around 1926. No one knows where they went. Olivine moved to Providence, Rhode Island after he disappeared.
