Individual:
Aime's name was chanaged by the immigration officials when he came into Maine from Canada. He couldn't read or write so when he gave his name as Aime Dufault, the immigration official wrote Emmet DeFoe. The story is that they told him Aime was a girl's name-- he must mean Emmet.
