Mrs Nora Arleta Funkhouser, 70 years old, RR 2, WTH, died at her home 12:15 o'clock Friday afternoon after a long period of failing health. She was a member of the New Goshen United Brethren Church and had lived in that community 65 years, coming there from VA. Surviving are the husband, Elmer E; one son, Leon, of Vermilion, IL; 4 daughters, Mrs Edna Eastham of Vermilion, Mrs Agnes Whitesell of RR 2, WTH, Mrs Marie Laney of New Goshen and Mrs Leona Killion of Terre Haute; 28 grandchildren adn 5 great-grandchildren, and one brother, David E Acord of New Goshen. The body was brought to the Frist Funeral Home and was returned to the residence Sat morning. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Sun at the Rose Hill church, with burial in Rose Hill cemetery.
