------------------------------------------------------------------- Deed from William H and Sally Martin to John Dollins;Albemarle County,Virginia;deed book 24;page 434 William H Martin and Salley his wife of Albemarle County sell to John Dollinsf the same county, for $100,their undivided interest in land in Albemarle Adjoining lands of William Piper, Richard Richardson,and the heirs of Joseph Field Decd.,being the same land which was owned and inherited by Richard Dollins Decd., and of wich said Richard Dollins died possessed,and which said undivided interest has descended to the saidWilliam & Sally his wife as heirs and distributees of the estate of said Richard Dollins Decd,and which said interest is one third part,of the wholw tract , which the whole tract contains 110 acres. executed Oct 18 1824 recorded Oct 22,1824

This indenture made the nineteenth day of October in the year eighteen hunred & twenty four betwee Samuel Wood & Elizabeth his wife and William H MArtin & Sally his wife of the County of Albemarle & state of Virginia of the one part and Harden Massie of the same County of the other part witnesseth that the said Samuel Wood & Elizabeth his wife ,William H Martin & Sally his wife,in consideration of the sum of two hundred & eighty dollars lawful money of Virginia to them in hand paid by the said Harden Massie the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged,have barganed & sold,and by thesepresents do and each of them ,bargain andsell unto said Harden Massie his heirs and assigns two thirds of one sixth part of a certain tract of land or parcel of land or lands containing by a late survey about six hundred & forty acres being all the Rev Benjanin Burgher Decd. diedpossessed of also two thirds of the one sixth part of the dower negroes in said estate,it being property which decended to them by operation of law from the estate of the said Benjamin Burgher Decd. and also all further claim or interest which they may have in the said estate of land or negroes together with all and singular the appurtenances thereof & to have and to hold the said land and negroes and the increase as foresaid unto the said Harden Massie his heirs and assignesforever, and the said Samuel wood and Elizabeth his wife and William H martin & Salley his wife do for themselves their heirs and assignes warrent and forever defend the right & title of the aforesaid land and negroes against the claims of themselves their heirs or assignes,and against yhe claim of all persons whatsoever unto the said Harden Massie his heirs and assigns. In testimony whereof the said Samuel Wood &c have hereunto set their hands and affixed their seals the day and year first above written Sanuel Wood Elizabeth Wood his William H X Martin her Sarah X Martin

in Albemarle County Court Office the 22 nd day of Oct 1824 this indenture presented to me in said office the date above and being duly certified thereupon the same together with the relinquishments of dower Mrs Elizabeth Wood & Sally Martin was admitted to record Teste Alex Garrett C.A.C. ,
