Catherine Jones, widow and legatee of Ambrose Jones, deceased, wishing to make a division o f a part of the property left her by Ambrose Jones, deceased, and hereby makes over to executors for such division as per will as if I were dead: 20 negroes, 5 head of horses, 23 head of cattle, 48 head of hogs. Catherine Jones, widow and relict of Ambrose Jones, deceased, gave to her children: James, Am brose, Stephen, Reuben, and Gabriel Jones, Elizabeth Winfree, Ann Sanford, and Robert Sanford, her husband, Phebe Gregory, Peggy Davie, and grandson John Bressie, all that my husband left me for my lifetime, and Gabriel Jones shall live with me as I reserve the plantation to myself for life, then he is to have it all with furniture and my grandson to have a bed and furniture, both have these things while I live as a gift from me: my old negro woman will live with me for life, then she is to be supported by my children and grandson.
