C. 1746-1848) #320-321 January 3, 1792, proved November Court 1792 Ambrose Jones wills to wife Catherine for her lifetime all my estates and at her death to go to children; to son Gabriel a part of land I now live on, on Aaron's Creek and Long Branch at Charles Harris' line by his paying two years after his mother's death, 200 pounds to my executors; which money I give to my son's, daughters, and grandchildren, namely, James, Ambrose, Stephen and Reuben; Elizabeth Winfree, Ann Sanford, Phebe Gregory and Peggie Davis(Davies??) and John Brassie; to grandson John Brassie, 5- pounds. Executors: Sons James, Stephen and Gabriel Jones. Witness: John ??, George Brown, John Mitter Sale of part of estate of Ambrose Jones sold November 13, 14, 15, 16, 1799 by Gabriel Jones , exr. The above parties make joint bond of 1000 pounds Virginia money that since estate of Ambros e Jones, deceased, is sold and to be paid for December 25, 1800 and if not paid for, each of them will assume his portion of non-payment to the executor.
