Our loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, Elwyn L. "Bish" Good fellow, passed away February 6, 1987, of home after a coourageous battle with cancer.
Born December 26, 915, Salt Lake City, Utah, to Horace A. and Dora Pugsley Goodfellow. Marrie d Grace James in 1936; later divorced. Married Gloria Whicker Black, August 13, 1959, Las Vegas, Nevada. Employed as an engineer for the Union Pacific Railroad for 43 years, retired in July 1978. Belonged to the U.P. Old Timers Club and Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. He enjoyed the outdoors, golfing, Skiing, and camping. Meber, LDS Church.
Survived by wife, two sons and four daughters, all of Salt Lake City; Gary E., James R. (Jim) , Mrs. Paul K. (Sandra) White, Mrs. William (Nola) Nielson, Gay Dawn Goodfellow, and Joy Lynn Cunningham; nine granchildren; seven great-granchildren; brother, Dale A. Goodfellow; Sister-in-law, Sue Goodfellow, both Salt Lake City; ; and a brother-in-law, Ray A. Stephens, Argonia, Kansas. Preceded in death by parents, a brother, Byron, and sister Rhea.
Funeral services Tuesday, February 10th, 12 noon, Larkin Chapel, 260 East South Temple, wher e friends may call Monday, 6-8 pm, and Tuesday, one hour prior to services. Internment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
