Text: HILDA ROBINSON PEEL
An elect lady, filled to overflowing with love and sweetness, passed away November 1, 1993, a t home, at the age of 85.
She was born in Farmington, Utah, May 2, 1908. Her great-grandparents were among the first se ttlers of Farmington. She married Vern R. Peel on January 15, 1927, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on June 15, 1927.
She served a lifetime of activity as a devoted wife and mother, with 23 grandchildren, 27 gre at-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
She served faithfully during her lifetime in all the organizations of the church, notably a s a teacher, including 14 years as an MIA teacher, and 11 years as a Seminary teacher. She was a counselor in the MIA and Relief Society. She supported her husband in all his years of priesthood leadership assignments, nurturing her family in his absence. She also served as president of the PTA for two terms, and sang for many years with the Singing Mothers.
Two of her choice hobbies were reading and enjoying beautiful flowers.
She is survived by her husband, Vern R. Peel, Farmington; children: Beverly (Art) Ruchti; Rob ert (Barbara) Peel; Richard (Martha) Peel; David (Bonnie) Peel; Melvin (Jeanne) Peel; sister: Aidene Warner; brothers: Carlos (Betty) Robinson; Bryant (Sonoma) Robinson; Kermit (Edith) Robinson. She was preceded in death by an infant twin son, Marvin.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 5th, 11 a.m. at the Farmington North Stake Center , 729 W. Shepherd Lane, Farmington. A viewing will be held Thurs. evening between 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 No. Main, also at the stake center from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Fri. Interment, Farmington City Cemetery.Date: 3 Nov 1993
