Individual:
! At the age of 101 Charlie was place in a senior center to receive more care
than Hazel could give him. He was unable to walk and unable to carry a
conversation for very long. He was alert enough to give answers and begin a
conversation but would drift off into his oun world. At this date, Feb 14
Valentine's day, he is nowt 103 and still hanging in there. One of the
remaining veterans of WW I.
! This date Charlie died, about 11:30 PM 21 Nov 1998 at the age of 104. I
(Jack) received a phone call her here in Apache Junction, Arizona from mom
she
did get to spend some time with him earlier in the day, but he was not able to
even reply his usual "Yes sir, that's my baby", as he always did upon hearing
mom's voice...................
