Individual:
I believe The Wilkes Carl & Caroline died in Wisconsin. We found a
birth registration for Louise, but I didn't investigate Charles & Emma
for birth certificates in Wisconsin. Grandma didn't have one, but was
bornin the country and sometimes they didn't get registered. Also I nev
checked the 1880's censues for Ozaukle Co. Wisconsin for the Wilke
just north of Milwaukee .
I also don't know if Wilhelmine (Minnie) had brothers & sisters. I
think she came to this country with her family around 1860.
William Loffler allegadly came by himself in the 1860's and landed in
Maryland. He may have been the only member of his family.
Staffelde maybe Strasfelde, (Brandenburg) Germany.
