Notes
Individual:
William Brigden and Sarah Jane Wood moved from Ontario, with two of the children, Stillman and Beatrice Alice, in March 1889, to farm near Napinka, Manitoba, until 1906. Annie Bardella (born April 1889) the twins, who died at ten months, Parrie Frost and Mable Pidgeon, were all born there.

The farm was sold and the family lived in Napinka for two and a half years, then moved to Bellville, Ontario, in December of 1909. Beatrice took her first year Arts at Albert College, Dell studied music with Professor Denmark, Parrie took a Commercial course and Mable a special course in Domestic Science. In October, 1910, they moved to Brandon, Manitoba. William dabbled in Real Estate until his death in Dec. 1925. Sarah Jane died in May, 1927.

Dell married Fred Aikens in July, 1912. Parrie married Hazel Heath in 1913. Mable married Tom Hanway, in June, 1919. Beatrice trained in Public Speaking and lectured in the Social Dept. of the Methodist Church for sometime. She moved to Winnipeg after her mother's death and worked as a Civil Servant until she retired.

Parrie was with Eaton's Life Insurance for 32 years until his death in 1956. Hazel passed away in Nov. 1964. Tom Hanway died in 1942, and Mable continued as a Civil Servant in Regina, Saskatchewan until retiring.

Taken from the notes compiled by Fred and Dell Aikens as a Centennial Project, in 1967.
