Stephen Collins Foster
Family legend has it that Stephen Collins Foster, the composer of Oh, Susannah! and Old Folks at Home, is related to our FOSTER line. The story I was told was that John J. FOSTER was a cousin of Stephen Foster's father. In an effort to discover the link, I compiled this family tree from the information in the book: Chronicles of Stephen Foster's Family, by Evelyn Foster Morneweck.
