From the Malone Evening Telegram, Friday, January 15, 1937:
BENJ. MARLOWE OF TEBOVILLE DIES AT AGE 43: Benjamin Marlowe, 43, of Teboville died this morning at 6 o'clock at the hospital in Ogdensburg. He had been ill for several years. Mr. Marlowe was born in Malone, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alex Marlowe. He married Elizabeth Bissonette in 1918. For several years they made their home in the New England states. Mr. Marlowe was a barber, but his health failed and he took up farming in an effort to recuperate. Several years ago he suffered a nervous breakdown. He is survived by his widow, two daughters Dorothy and Marion Marlowe, four sons, Francis, Lawrence, Donald and Joseph Marlowe, all of Malone; one sister, Mrs. Frank Purdy of Malone; three brothers, Allen of Malone, Herman of Springfield Mass., Wallace of Walpole, N.H. The body will be brought to Malone tonight at 6 o'clock and will be taken to the home. The funeral will be held Monday morning at 9 o'clock from Notre Dame Church with interment in Notre Dame Cemetery.
