My 7th G-Grandmother
Many years after Elizabeth Keene Withers death there arose in Fauquier Co., Va. a lawsuit ove r her estate, which was not settle until 1788. This suit gives the names of those of her children who were still living in 1783 and the names of the issue of those who had died before then.

Elizabeth's father's will left her the lands where she and her husband were living. After th e death of his wife, Elizabeth was to receive the whole estate and twenty shillings to buy her a ring to wear in remembrance of her father. Her husband, James, received a five year old steer.
