Marys Obituary:
"Died. In Fairfax County April 9, Mrs. Mary Chappell aged 101 years 2 months. She was the wif e of John Chappell, an old revolutionary soldier, who died April 9, 1835. He was at the storming of Stoney Point, and served under General Wayne during a considerable portion of the war. He was 84 years and 4 months of age at the time of his death." Mary and John both died the same day.
