Individual:
Headstone & Revolutionary War marker of William Sexton, b. 1747 VA, d. 1830 Whitley Co., KY, m. Leah Ferree. Grave located in Whitley Co., KY, at Sexton-Alsip Cemetery, just off 25-W, near Oak Grove School. This little cemetery is located between Corinth & Ward Cemeteries. Wm's son, James' stone is no longer legible, but James' first wife, Amey Durham's stone can still be read as of July 2001. (Wm. was Penny's GGGGG Grandfather, and James & 2nd wife, Mary "Polly" Rogers.
