Edmond David Welch served in Company A, 13th Kentucky Volunteer Cavalry (Union) during the Civil War. He enlisted July 27, 1863 in Columbia, Kentucky. The unit mustered in December 23, 1863 in Columbia, Kentucky and mustered out January 10, 1865 at Camp Nelson, Kentucky. He is listed on the Company A Roll as Edmund Welch.
