Text:
m. Margaret Young (Oct. 22, 1815 - June 22, 1886), sister of his brother's wife, May 8, 1832. Emigrated to Indiana c1846 and in 1856 to Anderson Co., KS. Through his efforts, Garnett was made county seat. For some time he filled the position of Probate Judge. He wrote the Centennial History of Anderson Co. , Kansas.
