Mother
Jessie Evans Sanders Wiser.
Born Littlehampton Devonshire England. Came to U.S. ate age 6 years, 6 week's crossing 1848 Rather dangerous. (Uncle Johnney) John E. Sanders born on ocean. (I was told) Came to Union Hill. Monroe. Co. Neighborhood Penfield Webster. 12 miles to Rochester. (Co. seat) Grew to womanhood. Met and married James Franklin Wiser. (so, named, frome President James Franklin Munroe)
I was the 3rd child mother, alone. Father away running threshing machine powered by horses. A week a month. Attended her house. Grandmother Wiser there a big task she loved mother more than her own "Why" best of care and peacfull. Expecting me She turned her thoughts to her maidenhoods Her derrist friend Charlot Baty blind frome birth. Possesing super natural powers Could reiceve and tell of the past also future
STRANGE. People suspious - Faked? and saying some.what I arrived Sept. 26.1876 (what time? Perhaps 3:30 a.m. That is my weakest point of the 24 hours.
no. Natuarely mother gave me that charistoric, I. was possesed of a strange doing's.
Strange speach. Father even knowing about the Fox sisters said "Th boy is crazy. Beyond my mother. She knew. And. acording to Eliza. Am Scot mid wife. (without a M.D.) I arrived. Aunt Ann alway's said (after I grew up) Newton, boy, that is what she called me her boy alway's) You never was worth raising (a bone, a, skin, a, hank,o, hair.) You will never amount to nothing (and never did) Tryed hard.? Did not work? Then. now? It is working at 72 yrs a little late. Nevertheless working I am now writeing this tale. A true, short, family naritive of things that be as I remember them. Today, Friday. Aug.13, 1948 at Webster N.Y. now the earthly home of my dearest relative. Myra Wiser McMath 44 Elm St. writeing 6 a.m. Peacefull, quite, happy, went to Fairport 8 Michigan, Inquired and found Claud Evans Caulkins. The last male with me, of course, of this generation (no boy in sight) Am now full filling the mission left off by Ida.Evans. Santa, Monica, Calif. The next gen - consists of my son, J. Frank Wiser,Pontiac, Mich. No issue. (what a pity)
Oscor Connell son of Stella Evans Caulkins, Connel. of Benj Connell Brandon Okland Co. Mich - Fairport N.Y. (another hard luck boy at 50 yrs) Two marriges. Rocks (So. have I looking for the 3rd) (not me) Honest Prouwd people. English. "Gone" Where? There. all of them.
In memory of my dear mother, and sister. Who gave all for their children that they and might have a better and fuller life.
May the Heavenly Father that guided your mother be with you now and forever more.
Amen.
