Individual:
Clinton and Melinda moved to Greene County, MO near the Cave Springs area, about 1838, probably at the suggestion of his older brother John, who had preceded him to Missouri. Clinton and his wife are buried in Coble Cemetery near Springfield between Cave Springs and Walnut Grove. Their daughter, Nancy, is buried there with her son.
Many King family members are buried there too. When Clinton moved to MO, a Galbraith family and one other family, possibly the McCraw family, went too. These other families settled southeast of Springfield. The Coble family now owns the site of the cemetery, as of 1981.
