The most acadian family has only one stock, Daniel LeBlanc, who was born in France about 1626. Arrived in Acadie before 1650, he married, about this year, in Francoise Gaudet, girl of Jean Gaudet, and widow of one appointed Mercier. Their six sons, five founded their own hearths, which they were not long in filling children. They generated thirty-five son, whose thirty-one married. The LeBlanc family thus increased tr& #232;s quickly, which explains its possible prevalence at the Acadian ones. Jacques LeBlanc, born with Port-Royal about 1651, was the elder son of Daniel. It convola about 1673 with Catherine Hébert, girl of Antoine Hébert and Genevieve Lefranc, who gave him thirteen children, of which Francois, born about 1688. This one took for woman, with Large-Pre, September 19, 1712, Marguerite Boudrot, girl of Claude Boudrot and Anne-Marie Thibodeau. Lo rs of the Deportation of 1755, François and Marguerite were transported with their family in Massachusetts, where François is deceased in 1761. The widow François LeBlanc, accompanied by four wire and a girl, went to Miquelon in 1763, from where it regained News-Scotland later four years. Charles LeBlanc, one of wire of François who accompanied his mother on the way by return, was born at Large-Pre May 17, 1723. It Maria about 1748 with Marie Barrieau, girl of Nicolas Barrieau wire. According to Placid Gaudet, Charles possibly settled in Memramcook, where it is deceased.
