"Somerset County Historical Quarterly" Somerset County Historical Society, Somerville, New Jersey, Vol VII Hillsborough (Millstone) Reformed Church Baptisms. nb This church was organized Aug 11, 1766, as the church of "New Millstone." On April 6, 1775, it was incorporated under the name Hillsborough (the name of the township), to distinguish it from the Harlingen Church, then called "Millstone" that is, "the church op De Millstone" There were only 2 baptisms recorded there (in the Hillsborough Church) in 1767 and 8 in 1768.
