On October 13, 1796 in New Brunswick Dutch Church he married Jane Williamson, who was born on February 5, 1780, who died on August 12, 1859, aged 79 Years, 6 Months, 8 Days. She was the daughter of Captain William Williamson of the New Jersey Militia in the Revolution. "John Pumyea died on October 28, 1852 aged 81 years, 2 months and 17 days." Their children were; Agnes. Peter, Ida, William, John, Ann, Isaac W. and Mary. William married Sara Ann Tunison. Isaac W. Married Catherine Van Dyke. "
