Dear Marty; Thanks for your query. I find your info very i ntriguing!
There are at least 3 early Lund branches on PEI. William Lund (and wife Mary Hunter) arrived directly from England aboard the Valiant in 1818. There is another William Lund who was here in 1820 (we don't know who he is); and then there is our line from Robert Lund. Information on Robert Lund begins to appear in the 1850's and we have not established where he came from. We have no birth records for his children. It is a possibility that he lived in N.S. or N.B. before he came to PEI. I will do some checking in this direction during the upcoming winter months - no time to do genealogy searching in the summer!

Dear Don & Marty,
I knew I had seen the LUND name in connection with PEI and it is because the LUND's of PEI married into my ENMAN family (my grandmother WELLS was an ENMAN before she married my grandfather) . This is also the connection to the Charlie Lund I have previously mentioned. For what it might be worth to you here is the LUND information connected to the ENMAN's of PEI.ÿ I do see some coming up in Winnipeg MB. I did a look up on your Lund Family Tree and did not find a Charles Lund born in 1833 or his parents Robert & Eleanor Lund.ÿ But it may help you to k now that there are other LUNDs in Manitoba, BC and Sarnia ON.
