Note: Engraved on tombstone in Spartanburg, SC, "WEEP NOT WIFE AND CHILDREN FOR ME, FOR I AM WAITING IN GLORY FOR THEE. Buried at New Hope Baptist Church. 1910 census lists Plato R. Price, age 23 and his wife Nettie as boarders. From WWI Civilian Draft Registration on 9/12/1918: William Benjamin Adair 14 October 1883 White # 2 Spartanburg South Carolina Worked at Drayton Mill. Listed as medium height and build, and with gray eyes and light hair. Died of kidney disease. Refused to take his medicine.
