Jim weber notes: Kay Allen does not give parents for Joan. The Joan who was daughter of Robert d'Aubigny & Joan seems to be the most likely candidate, although some sources state that she married Geoffrey Beauchamp, I believe that he died about 1221, which fits perfectly with Florence's approximate birth year.
