Jesse6 Avery (Simeon, Ebenezer, James, James, Christopher1) was b. Oct. 22, 1771, at Groton; m. May, 1803, at Orford, N. H., Elizabeth Platt, dau, of Eben and (Ames) Platt, She was b. Sept. 26, 1782, at Ringe, N. H. He was a carpenter. He d. Feb 13, 1824, at Orford; she d. March 23, 1846, at the same place.
