I believe Gabriella to be a sister to my ancestor Cyprian Barnett, he was
enumerated next to Andrew and Gabriella on the 1840 Campbell Co. census,if
so she would be the daughter of Richard Barnett and Susannah Smith. I have
just returned from a weeks research in Salt Lake City, where

Co., deed naming Cyprian as Susannah's son, I had long suspected that he
was, but just needed the proof. I also found deed's name Susannah as the
wife of Richard Barnett in Spartanburg, SC, they went to
GilesCo.,TNbetween
1814/1820 where she is recorded relinquishing her dower
onlandRichardBarnett
sold
in Spartenburg, Richard died before 1824, when Susannah is said to be a
widow selling land in Spartanburg where she is listed on the 1830 census.
There was also a son Waddy H. Barnett who married in Campbell Co., 1842
