In 1752 Arthur and Barbara sold 200 acres in Beverly Manor to James
Moffitt.
He was testator on James Moffitt's will in 1757. In 1761 purchased horses
for "His Majesty's troups." Is in Capt. John Christian's muster roll of
Augusta Co. Will proved in 1797 names wife, Barbara; and children, John,
James,
David, Alexander, Mary, Sarah, Margaret, and Martha. Sarah md Rev. Moses
Sanders.
