1850 Marshall Co. Ala. census records, 1860 Clark Co. Arkansas census
James D. was born between 1779-1784. The 1779 date was established from a tax
list of alexandria, Va dtd. 1800 where on he was listed at least 21 yoa. The
Ga state Penetentary record shows him as 48 yrs in 1830, this would give
birth date of 1782. James D. serving 4 years on Robbery charge, 4 nov. 1830-
4 Nov. 1834, 5'7" 1/2, fair comp. dark hair, blue eyes, pardoned, 22 Jan. 1833[SUTTON2010464. FTW]
