Eugene O. "Eyes" Ledsome, 72, of Staunton Avenue, Parkersburg, died Dec. 27, 1994 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Spencer, a son of Eva M. McCroskey Ledsome of Parkersburg and the late Orville Ledsome. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II,serving in the European Theater. He was a pipefitter for Plumbers &Pipefitters Local 565. He was a Baptist and a Shriner. He also was amember of Masonic Order 3 and Ben Gay Grotto and a former member ofDisabled American Veterans.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife of 23 years, Catherine "Katie" Ledsome; one son, John Henry Ledsome of Parkersburg; fivedaughters, Nancy Hutchinson, Sheryl Albert and Debbie Ledsome, all ofDenver, Colo., Sandie Helmick of Parkersburg and Roxanne Spiker ofLubeck; one brother Siebert Ledsome of Uniontown, Ohio; one sister,Madeline Looney of Spencer; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; andseveral nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Reginal Ledsome and Kevin Ledsome.
Services 2:30 p.m. today, Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, Elder Clair Ruble officiating. Burial Sunset Memory Gardens, with Masonic rites.
Visitation until 2:30 p.m. today. Sunset Memory Garden.Clark Memorial Hospital.

He and Errell divorced after problems involving "Katie". John was adopted by Gene and Katie after they married.
The other Children belonged to Errell and Gene from his first Marriage.
