| Inlaws and Outlaws of Jim and Mary |
This just started out as a hobby to try and find some links to our families. It then became an obsession. I had heard stories passed down of links to Lew Wallace and also Mary Queen of Scots so decided to try and make some connections. In so doing I found links to Samuel Fuller and the Mayflower. This was something entirely new to me. Jim discovered he was a cousin to Teddy Roosevelt through the Barnhills. I am looking for my father's mother's family now. She was born Mary Iva Wallace in 1868 and married John Cyrus Sholty at 15 years of age. I had heard that there were Floyd(surname, unsure if that is her mother's maiden name.) in her line.
Our people range from Bavaria, Prussia, England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland to the colonies of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Maryland, Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, California, Utah, just to name a few places.
I am sure that there are many corrections to be made and I appreciate any input that anyone can give me.This is a never ending project and a great learning experience.
