Lillian Ester Anderson Moore's Obituary read: Lillian Esther Moore, daughter of George and Jenny (Holmer) Anderson was born December 28, 1921 in Lawton, Iowa. She attended school in Lawton and graduated fro Lawton High School. Following graduation, Lillian attended the University of Iowa where she received her degree from the College of Nursing.
On August 18, 1945, Lillian married Dr. Carlyle C. Moore in Terril, Iowa. They were the parents of four children.
Lillian was a member of the United Methodist Church and Church Circle in Emmetsburg. She was also an active member of PEOT, Chapter B.C. Lillian was a member of numerous bridge clubs and social organizations. She was a friend to many and will always be remembered as a kind and caring lady.
Lillian died Friday, August 18, 2000, at the Palo Alto County Hospital in Emmetsburg, IA, at the age of 78. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; five brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by her children, William A. Moore of Scottsdale, AZ, Eric L. Moore of Tuscon, AZ, Jeffrey B. Moore of North Mankato, MN, and Jana Harris of Cave Creek, AZ; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother, Charles Sandberg of Sioux Falls, SD; as well as many other relatives and friends.
